How To Talk To: Your Children
By the time a child goes to school, some of the most important learning has already taken place.
Parents are a child's first teacher, starting when they are just days old.
It doesn't take money or special training to talk to a child.
Professor Kathy Coufal from Wichita State University explains how to do it.
"Talking about what we are doing all the time, giving labels to the actions and objects in their environment, talking to them about even what we're thinking."
