Faculty/staff news update fall 2010

Francis D'Souza, professor, chemistry, and his research group are featured along with their collaborator, Osamu Ito, professor, from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in a video of the American Chemical Society, the leading publisher in chemical sciences. The video highlights their research on the application of carbon nanotube hybrid materials for light energy harvesting applications. Michael Rogers, professor and chair, human performance studies, director of the Center for Physical Fitness and Aging, was quoted in the Sept. 15 New York Times story "Staying on Balance, with the Help of Exercises" at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?714.
