Wichita State University's Student Activities Council will host "Comedy Central on Campus" at 8 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex. The event will feature three comedians: TJ Miller, Jerrod Carmichael and Nick Vatterott.

Admission is $3 for WSU students with ID, $5 for WSU  faculty/staff with ID, $7 for the general public, and $7 at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance in 219 Rhatigan Student Center.

'Comedy Central' performers:

TJ Miller has been named one of Variety's "Top 10 Comics to Watch," as well as one of Entertainment Weekly's "Next Big Things in Comedy."

His most recent film was "Our Idiot Brother." Miller also is in production on the comedy "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World," and he recently signed on to the film "Road to Nardo."

Additionally, Miller co-starred in "She's Out of My League," and he voiced the character Tuffnut in "How to Train Your Dragon." Miller also had a role in the comedy feature "Get Him to the Greek."

Jerrod Carmichael is a Los Angeles-based standup performer originally from Winston-Salem, N.C. He has been crafting his standup for more than three years, and this year was featured in Variety as being one of the top 10 comics to watch, as well as being one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.

Carmichael is a regular around some of LA's favorite standup shows, including Meltdown, The Improv, Laugh Factory and many alternative rooms.

Nick Vatterott performed in 2010 on "Late Night" with Jimmy Fallon. "The Hollywood Reporter" named him one of the "break-outs" of the New Faces showcase at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

Vatterott has performed all over the world, from Caroline's in NYC's Times Square to Old City Comedy Club in Istanbul's Taksim Square. He has toured with Chicago's storied Second City comedy theater, and his sketch group "Heavyweight" has performed at Second City's Unhinged and the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival.

Vatterott's portrayal of "Don" in The Annoyance Theater's production of the necrophiliac musical "Love is Dead" earned him an After Dark Award for Outstanding Performance in a Play.
