Phil Ruffin to headline Wichita business conference

The 2012 Kansas Business Matchmaker conference, set for 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, will feature a keynote address by Wichita native entrepreneur Phil Ruffin.

The event will be at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex. It's hosted by Wichita State University's Center for Innovation and Enterprise Engagement and the Small Business Administration.

Along with Ruffin's speech, the day will include information on business matchmaking, an industry panel on advanced manufacturing and breakout sessions on the following topics.

  • Innovation and diversification success stories
