Theater student to compete nationally at Kennedy Center festival

Thirty-three Wichita State University students and faculty members from the School of Performing Arts participated in the Region 5 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Lincoln, Neb. Jan. 20-26. Wichita State brought home numerous awards. More than 1,500 university students and faculty from the six-state region attended workshops, competed in acting and design competitions, attended theatre productions and auditioned for summer stock.
