Learn how to start or improve your business at WSU expo

The Kansas Small Business Development Center at Wichita State University is hosting the Business Resource Expo starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 29th Street and Oliver.

The expo is a free event sponsored by the Small Business Education Consortium.

Representatives from more than 20 organizations providing support services to existing and prospective small business owners will be available to speak with attendees.

Keynote presentations are from 11 a.m.-noon. They include "How to Start a Low-Cost Business" and "How to Market with Social Media."

From 12:30-3 p.m. there will be several half-hour "How To" workshops that will cover everything from financing a new business to innovative ways to cut costs. For a schedule, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?281.
