  Connecting Every Student 

Community College Faculty & Staff and Students are cordially invited to join us at WSU's Rhatigan Student Center, on Friday, March 1st, 2019, for our annual Community College Day. A continental breakfast and full lunch buffet are included in this year's event, all at no charge! This year's theme is "Connecting Every Student". Do not miss this opportunity to learn more about the advantages for transfer students at WSU and hear about exciting changes taking place on campus, all while gaining professional development!

Presentations will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Beggs Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Rhatigan Student Center. This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Terri Hall, Vice President of Student Affairs.

Participants will also have the opportunity to tour Wichita State University's campus and hear the intriguing history of its buildings. The tour will be led by Jay Price, Professor and Chair of the WSU Department of History. 

ATTENTION Community College Students: All registered Community College students who are in attendance will have the opportunity to be entered into a drawing for one $1,000 scholarship to Wichita State University. To qualify you must be a current Community College student and be present at Community College Day at WSU on March 1, 2019. The scholarship is non-transferable. Scholarship funds must be used by the Fall 2019 semester. Register Today!


WSU Faculty & Staff Registration

All WSU Faculty & Staff are invited to attend the whole day for professional development or join us for lunch to help welcome our Community College colleagues and potential students to campus. 


WSU Information Table Registration

All WSU Departments & Colleges can register to have an information table at Community College Day.  Students looking to potentially transfer to the University will visit the different tables to see what the campus has to offer.  Community College Faculty & Staff will also be present and looking for information to take back to their campus.
