April 29,2026— Several scholarship awards helped Kaylan Richardson focus on her education and applied learning on her way to a degree. Next for Kaylan: Earning a graduate degree in counseling.
Dec. 10, 2025 — Xavier Westbrook came to Wichita State from Canton, Kansas, to pursue a degree in elementary education. He hopes that his student and substitute teaching experiences will turn into a full-time career with Wichita Public Schools.
Nov. 16, 2020 – Since kindergarten, Jenna Maxwell knew she wanted to be an elementary school teacher and decided to attend Wichita State for its teaching program. Jenna is one of more than 1,200 students eligible for fall 2020 graduation.
