Dec. 3, 2024 Abby Arbeiter was attracted to Wichita State University thanks to its creative writing program in the Department of English. Since attending WSU, she had the opportunity to travel to Europe thanks to the WSU Travel Seminar and will be graduating with her bachelor’s in creative writing this fall. Her advice to other Shockers? “Never be afraid to put yourself out there.”

May 6, 2024 — Raúl Alejandro Rangel Fernández learned how to juggle his commitments and his studies while earning a graduate degree in Spanish.

Dec. 6, 2021 — Ashley Carpenter learned more about biological sciences after she did WSU's National Student Exchange Program where she studied forestry. Carpenter is one of more than 1,100 students eligible for fall 2021 graduation.

Nov. 14, 2019 -- Junior business management major Maribel Sanchez is taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by Wichita State. She is a first-generation student, Gore Scholar, studied abroad in the Netherlands this past summer and was invited to speak at a national conference.
