College of Applied Studies Overview
The mission of the College of Applied Studies is to prepare education and other professionals to benefit society and its institutions through the understanding, the facilitation, and the illumination of the learning process and the application of knowledge in their disciplines.

The Professional Education Unit includes Educational Leadership, Counseling, School and Educational Psychology, the School of Education, as well as programs and faculty in the College of Fine Arts and the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, along with one program in the College of Applied Studies conducted within the Department of Human Performance Studies (P-12 physical education).
