WSU's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is an ABET accredited program where students conduct state-of-the-art work in algorithms and software systems, communications and signal processing, computer systems and architecture, control systems, computer networking, and energy and power systems.

Fully accredited degrees

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), and Computer Science (BSCS); Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Networking, and Computer Science; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The BSEE and BSCE programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET and the BSCS program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org).
