Whether you're looking for a tutor to get you through Calc 2, advice choosing your courses or ways to meet friends with common interests, the following resources are here to help you succeed.
Engineering Student Success Center: Located in the P2 Building on the Innovation Campus, the friendly staff of the ESSC can help you navigate challenges, get involved on campus and find student supports such as tutoring.
Advising: Information about available degrees, course requirements, the registration and enrollment process.
GEEKS Tutoring: GEEKS is a free tutoring program available to any engineering student. Tutoring is available for math, science, and basic engineering classes. Group and individual sessions are offered throughout the academic year. GEEKS takes place in the GEEKS Tutoring Room in P2 Building.
Scholarships: The College of Engineering annually awards nearly $1 million in both merit-based and need-based scholarships to all engineering majors in all classes, made possible by our gracious donors. Their generous gifts provide over 250 students the opportunity to continue their studies in the field of engineering.
Student Organizations: The best way to make friends with people who share your interests is to join a student organization. The College of Engineering sponsors dozens of student organizations representing different majors and specialized interest. Find one that fits here.
Engineer of 2020: To ensure our graduates are prepared for the future, the College of Engineering requires students to complete three of six requirements as part of every undergraduate degree: Undergraduate Research; Cooperative Education or Internship; Global Learning or Study Abroad; Service Learning; Leadership; and Multidisciplinary Education.
Engineering Open House: This annual event is a celebration of the accomplishments of our students and faculty, featuring an exhibition of student projects, research and laboratory facilities. Every engineering discipline at WSU showcases students' design and research projects. The college also hosts laboratory tours for the public, showing off the advanced research conducted at WSU.
