- 24 hour shelter for battered women,
- On-site substance abuse counselor
- Involvement with other agencies so we may give our clients referrals
- We have several Rape Advocates and Court Advocates
- Parenting and Support groups- Batters group (for women and men)
Our critical factors are to save the women, men, and children from getting killed. Many people have died because of domestic violence. For instance, women are killed by their husbands not to mention children are also affected.
Effects of the Program:
This program has helped many women receive jobs or other financial assistance. We have helped them to get homes and referrals in order to get a home in another state. It has empowered and helped our clients so they may learn better ways of parenting. The program gave them a special type of support that they may have not received elsewhere.
