The Environmental Finance Center, and its Heartland Environmental Justice Center, is accepting applications for a Communications and Marketing Specialist. The Communications and Marketing Specialist coordinates with EFC and HEJC staff and partners to fulfill the mission of both centers, develop and deliver consistent
messaging of programs and services, promote program activities, and highlight the
successes of our partners and program participants. This position is integral in the
promotion, growth, and success of both centers and their goals. The EFC and HEJC are
seeking candidates who can produce materials (documents, social media posts, press
releases, etc.) in English and Spanish and/or coordinate translation services to improve
communication with the diverse communities they serve.
The Heartland Environmental Justice Center, a division of the Environmental Finance Center, is accepting applications for up to three (3) Community Program Coordinators specializing in environmental and/orenergy justice, in both rural and urban communities. Coordinators will work with EJ Center staff and partners, program participants, and others to help communities build their capacity to assess local conditions and identify environmental and energy justice needs, participate in EJ decision-making at all levels of government, and find and apply for funding to address local concerns.
