How to Participate in Undergraduate Research:
- Identify a faculty member.
- View our Faculty's Research Areas.
- Examples of ongoing or past research can be found on posters outside faculty offices.
- Send an email to introduce yourself and why you are interested in their area of research.
- Follow up if you do not receive a response within one week. Faculty members may be balancing deadlines unrelated to teaching but will respond once they have the chance.
- Complete an enrollment form for undergraduate research credits (BIOL 499).
- This is not required but is strongly encouraged as the credits can be used towards your degree.
- With appropriate approval, some CHEM 690 may fulfill this option.
