Prospective students interested in learning more about the School of Music may schedule a campus visit. A campus visit is a good way to get a sense of everyday life at WSU, sit in on a rehearsal or an academic class, and get to know current students and faculty prior to your audition day visit.

At Wichita State, all incoming freshmen and transfer students, interested in majoring in music, are required to audition for admittance into the School of Music. Applicants must have adequate performance backgrounds. The audition will decide placement within the slected program. Transfer students must satisfy music performance and academic expectations at the time of transfer.
