Former National Science Foundation research associate in computer music: former instructor of theory and composition at Bowling Green State University. Several published research articles, compositions and arrangements. Works for solo harp have been performed throughout the United States, Europe and Israel; recorded on the Orion label. Active in College Music Society, Society for Music Theory and Society of Composers. A compact disc of his The Dove Descending for flute and organ has been released on the Summit Records label. Received the 1995 Individual Artist Fellowship in Music Composition from the Kansas Arts Commission. Composer-in-residence at the 1999 NOW New Music Festival at Capital University, Columbus, Ohio. Winner of the 2002 William D. Revelli Memorial Band Composition Contest for the work "Illuminations."
