Why I chose WSU
I chose Wichita State because of the atmosphere of the school! It felt as if I was right at home, there were multiple admissions staff members who were willing to make sure I had everything I needed and feel like I mattered. I was able to connect with people on campus. The campus was absolutely beautiful!

Favorite thing
My favorite thing about WSU is the faculty/staff! They are tremendously helpful and ensure that you have everything you need to be successful! They have office hours for times to come in so that you can get the help you need. As well as meeting people and gaining relationships to help with my academics and career.

Favorite place
My favorite place would have to be the Office of Diversity and Inclusion! The office has so many different organizations and things to offer ! Such as free printing, food, lounge, and kitchenette ! They have multiple organizations that come out of our office that are gear toward your success ! I love ODI !

Advice
My advice for the incoming freshman I would say make sure you are prepared to study all the time and to ensure that you are managing your time well. These two things will get you through the year as well as making sure you use all resources needed that can help you succeed.

Favorite class
My favorite class on campus would definitely be Anatomy and Physiology! This class was filled with new things to learn about your body and what it’s functions are ! My favorite part of the class was going to the Cadaver lab ! We were able to explore the lab and see what the body really looks like underneath all the skin ! Professor Tew was a wonderful instructor for this course!
