Oswald Leadership Fund
A native Kansan, Charles W. Oswald graduated from the University of Kansas in 1951 with a degree in economics. He earned his master's in business administration from Harvard University in 1953. Beginning his career with the Jostens Corporation, he ultimately served as president from 1968-1970. One of the founders of National Computer Systems, he also served as chair and CEO from 1970 until his retirement in 1994. Currently, he is chairman of Rotherwood Investments, LLC in Minnesota.
Although a strong supporter of his alma mater, Mr. Oswald is committed in general to the advancement of institutions of higher learning in his home state of Kansas. In 2003, he contributed $1 million each to the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, and Wichita State University.
