Dr. Tim and Kim Scanlan Fellowship

Dr. Tim Scanlan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John's University and completed his medical education at the University of Minnesota. He focused the last 20 years of his medical career on addiction medicine. Dr. Scanlan has served on the boards of the Hunter Health Clinic and the DUI Victim Center. Additionally, he was a member of the College of Health Professions Dean's Advisory Committee and was medical director of the Wichita State University Physician Assistant Program.

Dr. Kim Scanlan received her doctorate in organization and management from Capella University and worked for Boeing/Spirit for more than 25 years in human resources and corporate services positions. After leaving Spirit, she worked at St. Thomas Aquinas Church as the parish administrator prior to her retirement.

The Scanlans were active on numerous community boards during their time in Wichita. They retired and moved to Hugo, Minn., in 2011.

Drs. Tim and Kim Scanlan met when they both returned to WSU to earn their Master of Business Administration degrees in 1988 and 1986, respectively. They are lifetime members of the WSU Alumni Association.
