For 25 years, Josh Cooper has been a cornerstone of the technical infrastructure team in Information Technology Services at Wichita State University. Josh brings a methodical and logical approach to designing solutions and solving technical problems in the complex environment of the University. His ability to research issues and find explanations and solutions is unparalleled and his attention to detail is evident in the successful system implementations that he leads.
Josh is not only a long time employee of Wichita State he is also an Alum. Studying Mathematics and working in the NIAR IT department he honed his analytical skills. After graduation, Josh worked in IT at Raytheon for several years before returning to his Alma Mater. Since joining IT here at WSU, he has been instrumental in building and maintaining an environment that has served the needs of the students, faculty and staff.
Outside of work Josh has a passion for Shocker Athletics and Kansas City Chiefs football. He regularly attends home games at Koch Arena and Eck Stadium and is not a stranger at Arrowhead. Over 25 years he has seen many ups and downs with both the Shockers and the Chiefs, but his sticks with them faithfully. Josh's loyalty to his teams is reflected in his dedication to helping the University community with technology.
