Sponsored by: Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Center
The Premedical Professions LLC helps students interested in the medical professions start to build the skills and experiences they will need to both gain admission to their program of choice and become competent, culturally sensitive medical professionals in the future. This community assists students in understanding the application process to their desired program, while also giving students opportunities to learn about different medical professions and build connections with like-minded students.
Students must be interested in attending medical, pharmacy, dental, optometry, or chiropractic school to participate. Preference will be given to students pursuing Liberal Arts and Sciences degrees, but we encourage students from other colleges to apply too. Participants will be required to enroll in LASI 150P: Intro to Premedical Professions. Students are expected to attend monthly events and be actively engaged in the LLC. Limited to incoming first year students.
