This community is the path to releasing your Shocker Spirit. The Recreation and Wellness community will focus on living a balanced lifestyle within the college environment. As members of the LLC you will have the opportunity to develop healthy practices, and incorporate the seven aspects of wellness.

Eligibility Students must be interested in attending sport management, human performance studies, or education fields to participate. Preference will be given to students pursuing sport management and human performance studies degrees, but we encourage students from other colleges to apply, too. Open to students regardless of year in school.

Peer Academic Leader (PAL) Profile

Micah Rehmert is the Resident Assistant for the Recreation and Wellness Living Learning Community (LLC). Micah is a Junior majoring in Exercise Science. After graduation, he plans to attend an Optometry school to be a doctor with the ability to research eye tracking. Micah was a Resident Assistant in Fairmount Towers last year and is very excited to be working with the Rec and Wellness LLC this year! Along with his commitment as an RA, Micah is a Mentor in Emerging Leaders. In his free time, Micah enjoys working out at the Heskett center, finding different restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. Micah thinks everyone should join the Recreation and Wellness LLC because it's a fun and unique community focused of fostering a lifelong commitment to health.
