Purpose: The Academics Affairs Committee shall be responsible to hear and make recommendations to the Senate and Student Advocate on actions to address issues of the Academic nature. The committee represents the students and addresses all academic concerns of Wichita State University and to monitor the actions of the faculty senate. This committee serves as the liaison between undergraduate students, provost’s office, and academic deans at least once a month.

Committee Formation: (still researching)

Membership: Any member of the Association shall be eligible to serve on any of the Committees as full, voting members and shall be appointed according to the procedure outlined the Bylaws and shall make a good faith effort to include in their membership at least one (1) graduate student. Unless otherwise noted, each Senate Committee shall consist of no more than twenty (20) members including the Chairperson. 

Jurisdiction: Association Scholarships, Association Hardship Funds, any concerns that are Academic in nature
