Students who are interested in getting involved with Student Government should consider running the SGA General Election. In addition to running for Student Body President and Student Body Vice President, there are positions on the Student Senate that are open during each general election. The SGA General Election is held each spring, usually the first week in April. The process of running for an office can be a great experience by itself, and is not necessarily difficult.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please take the time to carefully review all rules and regulations located in S003 of the SGA Legislative Journal concerning expenditure reports, campaign materials, deadlines for forms, etc. Once you have reviewed the information and filed for a position, you will be responsible for upholding these rules and regulations.
Honors College Senators: 2 positions
