Write In Candidates
A write-in candidate is someone running for office whose name is not on the ballot, but voters can still support them by writing their name in the designated space. However, if a write-in candidate does not meet the qualifications for the position, the Election Commission can disqualify and remove them. To vote for a write-in candidate during the General Election, students will have the chance to write their name on the "Write-In" line on the ballot.
The General Elections
The Election is set to take place on April 6-8. Ballots will be emailed to all students via SimplyVoting to vote.
