New Shocker Store location opening in Braeburn Square

The Shocker Store (formerly University Bookstore) will be opening a 2,840-square-foot location in the new Wichita State University retail area, Braeburn Square. The new store is projected to open in late September, and is the second business to commit to the retail center.

This Shocker Store location will not sell textbooks. Instead, customers can purchase Shocker merchandise geared toward sports fans, alumni and the WSU community. It will feature an extended line of Shocker apparel, with the selection being different from the merchandise carried in the Rhatigan Student Center's Shocker Store.

Hours are still to be determined, but will be in line with traditional retail hours. This new location will make parking more convenient for the Wichita community.

Braeburn Square, a 20-acre on campus, will continue to further WSU's plan to be a place where people can live, work, learn and play.
