Feb 19, 2015 — By WSU News Services — Wichita State encourages all undergraduate students to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). NSSE helps WSU understand how students are spending time in and out of the classroom, which guides decisions that will benefit them. Students will receive email messages with a link to the online survey asking for participation. A final reminder will go out on Tuesday, March 17.

Feb 19, 2015 — By WSU News Services — Wichita State's College of Engineering will award 11 high school seniors more than $200,000 in Wallace Scholarships during a news conference at 10 a.m. today (Friday, Feb. 20) in the Marcus Welcome Center. Each scholar will receive a four-year renewable scholarship for a total of $20,000. The Wallace Scholarships are in addition to their merit award offerings.

Feb 25, 2015 — By WSU News Services — WSU is partnering with Wichita Transit and vRide to offer a new benefit to interested university employees: vanpooling. Vanpooling is a service that replaces personal vehicles with a van that the riders pitch in to operate, thus driving down the cost for everyone. Wichita Transit and vRide will be on-site 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in 256 RSC to provide more details and assistance.
