Jan 9, 2014 — By WSU News Services — Alan Elcrat, professor of mathematics, died of a heart attack on Dec. 20. He was 71. A graveside burial service was held Dec. 27, at Kensington Gardens. A memorial service is being planned here at WSU, possibly later in February. Elcrat was an active and well-known researcher all of his 46-year career at Wichita State.
