Jan 2, 2014 — By WSU News Services — Steve Hathaway, age 68, died at his daughter's home in Maine on Dec. 26, after a week of hospice care. Hathaway taught creative writing and American literature at WSU from 1974-2012, where he was a beloved teacher, mentor and friend.
