Because of issues at a Westar substation south of campus, power had to be diverted to a north substation. Apr 18, 2017 — By WSU News Services — Work will begin soon to replace the lighting in Charles Koch Arena at Wichita State University. The existing metal halide lamps will be replaced with quick-start, energy-efficient LED lamps. The life of the fixtures will be much greater, and they will significantly save on energy. It is estimated that the payback will be less than 12 years. A&H Electric, Wichita, is the low bid contractor
