Dec 6, 2012 — By WSU News Services — The Wichita State volleyball team used a 3-1 win over No. 20 Kansas to advance to the first Sweet Sixteen in school history. The Shockers (24-9) won by scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-19 and 25-21. The Shockers advance to play USC on Fri., Dec. 7 in Austin, Texas.

All of this noise concerns Wichita State University audiologist Ray Hull.

High school seniors Laura Brockmeyer, Wichita Heights High School; Shannon Crow, Valley Center High School; and Lydia Newquist, Salina South High School, were the top finalists in the Klose Scholarship Competition held by the College of Education for future math and science teachers.

Butler Community College President Jackie Vietti and Wichita State University President John Bardo signed an agreement Thursday, Nov. 29, enabling a partnership for students to transfer select course work from WSU to Butler.
