The Fairmount Park Restoration steering committee, Wichita Parks and Recreation Community Fund, WSU Office of Multicultural Affairs, African-American Faculty and Staff Association and Jedd Beaudoin, host of KMUW's Strange Currency, as master of ceremonies, invite you to come "Back to the Park" on Saturday, Oct. 27. The all-day event at Fairmount Park at 1647 N. Yale behind Brennan Hall, is from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. There will be live music from WSU's own jazz ensemble and local talent from all genres. Other activities will include volleyball, basketball, flag football and lots of food. Admission is free. And don't forget to bring your frisbee.
