* New research opportunity: Letters Track-2: Kansas NSF EPSCoR Call for White Papers -- Collaborative initiatives to improve research infrastructure. Letters of intent are due to the sponsor by Friday, Nov. 30. * Interested persons are invited to attend an informational meeting on the American Association of University Professors organization from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Friday, Oct. 26) in room 130, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * The volleyball team will host Northern Iowa at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Oct. 26) and Bradley at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* SAC will hold its annual Trunk or Treat event from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the parking lot next to the Heskett Center play fields. Come out for costume contests, candy, games and safe trick or treating. Admission is free for adults, $1 per child for faculty/staff/students and $3 per child of the general public.

* You're invited to come "Back to the Park" for a full day of music, games and activities from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Fairmount Park, 1647 N. Yale behind Brennan Hall.

* The women's basketball team will host Harding University in an exhibition game at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* The WSU Strategic Planning Steering Committee invites the campus community to attend and be part of the ongoing strategic planning process at Wichita State. The "WSU: Our University, Our Culture" Strategic Planning meeting will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in 208 Hubbard Hall.
