The WSU Child Development Center is offering an in-service opportunity "Opportunity Knocks" for anyone who would like to attend from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the CDC. This in-service will share childhood obesity trends which set the stage for the opportunities that providers have for helping children, as well as staff and families, to increase their daily physical activity while making healthier food choices. It will be presented by Liz Brunscheen-Cartagena, a Family Life and Resource Management Agent from the K-State Research and Extension in Sedgwick County.
