For the sixth year, WSU and the WSU Foundation have hosted the Faculty of Excellence Luncheon to recognize and honor distinguished faculty and their donors. Elizabeth King, WSU Foundation president and CEO, and Keith Pickus, WSU interim provost, welcomed nearly 70 attendees to the luncheon on Oct. 30 at the Marcus Welcome Center.

WSU has 11 endowed chairs, 20 endowed professorships and 18 faculty fellows. Four positions are unfilled.

Program speakers included King, Pickus, President Bardo, Bill Moore, WSU Foundation Board of Directors chair, and Robert Weems, the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor in Business History.

The luncheon wrapped up with entertainment by the John Goering Trio.
