We live on one of the most important water ways of the central plains, the Arkansas River, and yet many people have never fished or swam in it, paddled on it or even walked along its shores. The WSU GreenGroup presents "Wichita's Greatest Natural Resource (and how to make the most of it)," a presentation by Hoyt Hillman of the Arkansas River Coalition, at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in 101 Geology Building. There's no admission charge. Feel free to bring your lunch. Faculty are encouraged to invite students in their classes to hear this presentation.
