Campus Ministry at Wichita State will host an Alternative Gifts International "After-Market" event from 10-1 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 19) and Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the Rhatigan Student Center near the bookstore. Alternative Gifts International is a different kind of shopping experience.

Instead of buying a box of candy for Aunt Mary, a shopper at this market might decide to provide therapeutic feeding for Indonesian children or purchase a solar-powered computer for a rural school in Honduras.

Then Aunt Mary receives an attractive card or ornament telling her about this unique present given in her honor. There are more than 30 different charity groups represented.
