WSU faculty and staff are invited to a service learning exploration meeting from 8:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Marcus Welcome Center. The Divisions of Academic Affairs and Campus Life and University Relations are exploring ideas on how to expand and formalize service learning opportunities on campus. Service learning is a high impact teaching practice that is known to engage students, improve critical thinking skills and ultimately lead to improved retention and graduation rates.
