* The Tilford Commission invites faculty and staff to its final meeting of the semester from 3-5 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 26) in 227 Hubbard Hall. The Tilford Commission is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion through curricular innovation, recruitment and retention efforts, and campus events that foster intercultural competency.

* All Unclassified Professional employees are encouraged to attend the Unclassified Professional fall general meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in 231 Hubbard Hall. Speakers include President John Bardo, Interim Provost Keith Pickus, Vice President for Administration and Finance Mary Herrin and Vice President for Campus Life and University Relations Wade Robinson.

* WSU faculty and staff are invited to a service learning exploration meeting from 8:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Marcus Welcome Center. The divisions of Academic Affairs and Campus Life and University Relations are exploring ideas on how to expand and formalize service learning opportunities on campus. Service learning is a high impact teaching practice that is known to engage students, improve critical thinking skills and ultimately lead to improved retention and graduation rates. * WSU now has a license for the Qualtrics Survey Tool, a survey software that enables users without coding knowledge to develop, publish and collect responses to surveys. It is Web-based and free to use for all WSU faculty, staff and students to support teaching and research.
