Child Start is collecting new winter hats and mittens for 1,270 infants, toddlers and preschoolers in need. Want to help? The Hugo Wall Public Administration Society has a box for you to drop new hats and mittens in the break room at 215 Lindquist Hall. The deadline to donate is Tuesday, Dec. 11, so hurry. Child Start provides Head Start services in Sedgwick, Butler, Harper and Greenwood counties. The enrolled children are all living in poverty and receive free child development services. Questions?
