'Buzz-Worthy Art Talk' with Genevieve Young set for Nov. 29 'Buzz-Worthy Art Talk' with Genevieve Young set for Nov. 29

The "Buzz-Worthy Art Talk" with Genevieve Young, third wife to the late Gordon Parks, will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. and program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the CAC Theater at Wichita State University.

The free event is being held the day before Parks' 100th birthday.

During her career, Young was employed with Harper & Brothers; J.B. Lippincott; Little, Brown and Co.; The Literary Guild of America; and Bantam Books. The accomplished editor not only worked with Parks, she also worked with authors Joseph Alsop, Cleveland Amory, John Jakes, Henry Kissinger, Wally Lamb, Nancy Milford, Joseph Wambaugh and Herman Wouk.
