Joshua Piker, associate professor of history at Oklahoma University, is an expert on colonial and Native American history and will present a talk drawn from his forthcoming book "The Four Deaths of Acorn Whistler: Telling Stories in Colonial America." The talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in 208 Hubbard Hall and is sponsored by the Wichita State University chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society.
