* The "Buzz-Worthy Art Talk" with Genevieve Young, third wife to the late Gordon Parks, will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. and program at 6 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 29) in the CAC Theater. The free event is being held the day before Parks' 100th birthday.

* As a reminder to students, applications for the 2nd Annual LimeLight Student Film Festival are due Friday, Nov. 30. Students will have the chance to direct, produce, write and act in their very own short films, which will be shown on March 8, 2013. Applications may be turned in to the Student Involvement office, (3rd floor of RSC) no later than 7 p.m. on the due date. Actual film submissions will not be due until February 2013.
* The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites you to participate in the Empty Bowls Project, a social justice fundraiser to fight hunger on campus in the Wichita community, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in the Heskett Center lobby. * Student Involvement is seeking volunteer staff and faculty who are interested in serving as student organization advisers as a resource, and connect students to campus resources and initiatives.
