Regional Institute on Aging teams up with Kansas Sampler Foundation

The Regional Institute on Aging at WSU has teamed up with the Kansas Sampler Foundation to develop a series of stories about the contributions of older Kansans. The goal centers around changing the perspective on, and the conversation about, older adults through a website that presents engaging and enriching stories of what older people have done/are doing for our state and their communities.

These are not the "usually visible" or public people. These are older citizens leading unheralded lives, and continuing to quietly make important contributions in the lives of those around them and their communities.

These stories and the accompanying images are presented on the Regional Institute on Aging website at http://www.wichita.edu/aging. Click on "Changing the Conversation" to view the initial stories and let RIA know of others who could be included.

If you have questions, contact Teresa Radebaugh, director of RIA at teresa.radebaugh@wichita.edu.
