* United Parcel Service has announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 4.9 percent effective Dec. 31. Federal Express has announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 5.9 percent effective Jan. 7. And United States Postal Service announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 2.57 percent effective Jan. 27.

* Join Campus Ministry @ WSU in supporting InterFaith Ministries 52nd annual holiday drive to benefit Wichitans living at or below the poverty line. This year our campus effort will focus on coats/hats/gloves. Collection boxes are located in Corbin, Hubbard, Jabara, Morrison, Clinton and Ahlberg halls. Coats and blankets can also be dropped off at any Wichita area In The Bag Cleaners now through Saturday, Dec. 8.

* Child Start is collecting new winter hats and mittens for 1,270 infants, toddlers and preschoolers in need. The Hugo Wall Public Administration Society has a box for you to drop new hats and mittens in the break room at 215 Lindquist Hall. The deadline to donate is Tuesday, Dec. 11, so hurry. Questions? * Letters from Santa are available now through Friday, Dec. 14, at the Campus Post Office. Each letter will cost $1.25 each, postage included, and will be forwarded to Santa Claus, Ind., for a special postmark and then forwarded to the address on the envelope.
