Students, faculty and staff are needed to help members of the WSU community complete free federal and state income tax returns. Free online training and certification for volunteers is provided by the IRS. Volunteers are needed from early February through April 15, 2013. If you are interested and could be available for at least three hours a week during this time, contact Tim Hagan, Financial Literacy Project coordinator in the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success, at 978-3211 or timothy.hagan@wichita.edu. Sign up now and take the online training over winter break. This site will be part of the network sponsored by an annual partnership between the United Way of the Plains and the IRS.
