* United Methodist Open Door is seeking donations for the homeless for December. The needed items are hanging on a request tree in the University Bookstore in the RSC. * Employees who enrolled in Health Plan C for Plan Year 2013 will receive a "welcome letter" from US Bank (HSA Provider). For employees who provided an email address during open enrollment, this notice will arrive via email. If no email address was provided, the letter will be mailed to the employee's home address. It is important to follow the directions in this letter to open your HSA account so that deposits can be made in 2013. * In continuing the WSU tradition established in 1962 by the late Nicholas Pronko, professor emeritus of psychology, it is again time to support the Holiday Card Scholarship fund. To make a gift, print the giving form at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1944 and return it to the Annual Fund, campus box 2. Names of contributors will be listed on the Holiday Greetings page of the WSU Foundation website at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?1945. Check the page often for names of new supporters.

* The Classified Senate needs support from the WSU community to help teens in the Youthville program. Collection boxes along with a list of requested items are placed around the university now until Thursday, Dec. 13. * United Parcel Service has announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 4.9 percent effective Dec. 31. Federal Express has announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 5.9 percent effective Jan. 7. And United States Postal Service announced that they will raise the shipping cost by 2.57 percent effective Jan. 27.
