Reminders

* USBank will host two webinars today (Tuesday, Dec. 18) and Wednesday, Dec. 19, for members who have enrolled in Plan C for Plan Year 2013. These 20-30 minute webinars will provide an overview of the USBank Health Savings Account Participant (member) portal and show how to activate a member's account. There is no advance sign-up; just log in shortly before the start time.

* A reminder for those renting Heskett Center lockers and baskets: They must be cleared out by Wednesday, Dec. 19. If you are renewing or have an annual rental, please leave your Campus Recreation towel in the locker.

* Blackboard will receive routine database maintenance from 6-10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20. It will be unavailable to students and instructors during that time. * In Academe news, Wichita State's quartet in residence, the St. Petersburg String Quartet, performed along with other WSU faculty and student musicians at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia, and Elaine Steinke was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. * Students, faculty and staff are needed to help members of the WSU community complete free federal and state income tax returns. Free online training and certification for volunteers is provided by the IRS. Volunteers are needed from early February through April 15, 2013. * Give the gift of a massage this holiday season. To purchase a certificate, stop by Campus Recreation at the front desk of the Heskett Center.

* In continuing the WSU tradition established in 1962 by the late Nicholas Pronko, professor emeritus of psychology, it is again time to support the Holiday Card Scholarship fund.
