The Nov./Dec. 2012 Currents magazine, published by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), highlighted the WSU Foundation's Faculty/Staff Fundraising Award for acknowledging the invaluable help faculty and staff provide by developing relationships with potential donors. The first recipient, Julie Bees, professor of piano in the School of Music, helped obtain $1.2 million for a piano competition. The next award winner will be announced at the Spring 2013 National Advisory Council meeting on April 26.
